Berlin 2 (Pergamon Museum + Reichstag)

Hola!

Hi! New post about my Berlin travel! In this post, I will feature the half of the second day I stayed there, because that was the day I took the major part of pictures and it would turn a  very long post, so I decided to do two posts and nobody will fall sleep reading me ^^

I started early the day. I woke up before everybody and I decided to use the time I had before the breakfast time to visit near the hotel by my own.

Libros para aprender aleman (¡estuve por llevarmelos!)

A guide told us that at the parks use to have hills, made by runes from the debris from the Second World War.

I wanted to visit Hackesche Höfe, a buildings with conected bakyards with shops. I founded it very nice, escept that when I was leaving, I saw a pair of lowcost chain shops...

Me gustó mucho estar alli!

When I leave that building, I felt that I missed something. I started to walk to the hotel when I saw an alley and I leaned out, it was what I was loocking for! It was an alley full of art, graffitis and stickers. I love to stay there!

Alli también hay un Museo Anna Frank.

There was also an Anne Fran Museum.

I'm fascinated for the mix of styles you can see.

I went to the hotel and I had breakfast with my classmates. Then, we went to Pergamon Museum.

In the yard of "The Museum Island" (where there are the most important museums) there was lots of sculptures.

Lobby of Altes Nationalgalerie (I entered there while we were waiting to enter to Pergamonmuseum)

Of the museums we visted, I think this was the one I liked the most, but I felt outraged because the most famous piece (The altar of Pergamon) was closed and I wasn't aware of this. I was wishing to walk up and down that stairs!

My favourite piece was The Ishtar Door and it's walls. I shot some pictures in front of them!

This piece was very curious: the theme was christian, but in arabic style. It was a commision (the muslim religion doesn't allow represent the body of God)

This ceiling belongs to Alhambra of Granada (Spain), during the Franco regim it was selled to a german millionare and now, in Alhambra there is copy.

Once finished the visit, it was the time to visit the Reichstag.

We visited again the sculpture inspired by a Käthe Köllwitz drawing, because in that time, the monument was open.

When we arribed there, we where a bit late (just for minutes!), so the group entered there to heard a conference, but we weren't allowed to enter there, so only let us to see the dome (I thought the visit only consisted to this, so I didn't felt bad) From there, we saw all Berlin. I liked a lot to stay there, I had a great time with my classmates sitting there.

La arquitectura de la cúpula magnifica.

The architecture of the dome was splendid.

The Reichstag is next Tiergarten, a huge park.

In the next post I will continue talking how was that day!
