Berlin III Free Time

Aqui sigo, contandoos mis aventuras por Berlin. Hoy os traigo la segunda parte del post sobre el 3r dia. Creo que el proximo post ya serà el ultimo ^^

Again, sharing my adventures in Berlin. This post is the second part about the 3º day.

I guess next post will be the last ^^

Después de comer, decidimos entrar al Tiergarten. Es el parque más grande que hay en Berlin. De camino ¡Una ardilla se nos acercó! ¡Nunca había visto este animal tan de cerca! Estuvimos allí un buen rato sentados, yo aproveché para sacar muchas fotos a mis compañeros y ver un monumento de allí cerca, no recuerdo el nombre, era en memoria de los soldados.

After have lunch, we decided to enter at Tiergarten, the biggest park in Berlin. On the way, we found an squirrel! I had never seen from near this animal! We stayed sitting there, I took a lot of pictures of my classmates and I went to see the monuments.

La columna de la Victoria. Quisimos llegar hasta ella, pero el camino era taaaaaan largo, que nos cansamos. De camino, vimos un pelotón de motos de policia, furgones... hasta que vimos detras que iba un coche de lujo con la bandera de Lituania ¡con su presidenta! Resulta que esos dias estaba ella de visita.

The Victory Column. We wanted to go near, but the way was so loooooong, so we get tired. On the way, we saw a big squad of police motocycles, cars... and then, a luxury car with Lithuania flag with her president inside! That days, she was on the city.

Luego cojimos el S-bahn para ir al barrio de Kreuzberg / Friedrichshain, por la misma zona donde estuvimos el dia anterior.

We took the S-bahn to get Kreuzberg / Friedrichshain, the same zone that we visited the previous day,

Por esa zona hay edificios muy chulos.

There are a lot of cool buildings.

Y así, cruzamos el Oberbaum Brücke. Es una pasada de puente, con unas vistas preciosas de los edificios de la orilla del rio, o la escultura de la foto anterior.

So we cross Oberbaum Brücke. This bridge is so beautiful, it has marvelous sights of the buildings of the river or the sculpture from the previuos picture.

Este mural es muy conocido, me hizo ilusión encontrarlo, està justo al cruzar el puente.

This mural is so popular, it was very nice to meet it, it's just next to the bridge.

En esta zona hay muchos murales y todo es muy colorido.

In that neighboorhood there are a lot of murals, and it's so colorful.

Fuimos a una escuela, la Art Center Kunsquarter Bethanien, que ya pasamos por allí el dia anterior. Solo que esta vez, entramos allí por nuestra cuenta. Vimos una exposición de arte que me pareció interesante.

We went to Art Center Kunsquarter Bethanien, an school that we saw the previous day, We entered there by our own, we saw an interesting art exhibition.

Era un pasillo tapiado con un muro de cubos de porexpan unidos con crema de chocolate!

This corridor was boarded up with porexpan bricks glued with chocolate cream!

Nos colamos allí con todo el morro jajajajajaj Me pareció curioso que los pasillos de la escuela estuvieran llenos de firmas y pegatinas, supongo que lo dejarian de recuerdo de los antiguos okupas.

We entered there as we were students from that school. The walls of the corridors were full of graffittis and stickers, maybe they are a memory of the old squatters.

Poco a poco, empezó a caer la noche y buscamos un sitio donde cenar.

The sun went down and we looked for a place where have dinner.

Acabamos cenando en un sitio, supongo que lo definiria como "casa de comidas", pues era un sitio regentado por un turco donde tenia comida preparada y podias elegir lo que querias y llevartelo o comerlo allí. Yo elegí una ensalada de patata. El Nestea ya lo llevaba ya que lo habia comprado antes. (En Berlin aproveché ya que encontré bebidas conocidas en sabores diferentes y probé todas las que pude! Este era un Nestea de Frutos rojos, ¡ojala lo vendieran en España!) Fuimos muchos alli comiendo y el propietario nos trajo como unas pastas de hojaldre, y más tarde, galletas. También nos cantó y toco un instrumento de cuerda. 

We ended up having dinner in a kind of restaurant owned by a Turkish man. He had some dishes, so we choosed what we wanted and sitted there. I choose a potato salad. The Nestea I bought it before (In Berlin, I tried to bought all the drinks in strange flavours that I met. This Red Fruits Nestea was delicious!) We were a lot having dinner there, and the owner bring us a puff pastries and cookies. Also, he sang and played a string instrument.

En acabar, fuimos a un bar a tomar una cerveza ¡y que cerveza! ¡Pensé que no podría acabarmela! Este bar me gustó mucho, la estetica era así punk, con paredes de ladrillo y tenian hasta una gramola con la que podias elegir la musica que sonava.

When we finished, we went to a bar to have a beer, and what a beer! Y thought I can't finish it! I liked this bar, it has a punk aestethics, with brick walls and a juke box where you can choose the music that it played.

Dimos un paseo y acabamos cojiendo el S-Bahn para cruzar el río, si, ¡otra vez por el Oberbaüm Brücke!

We walked and we took the S-Bahn to cross the river, again by Oberbaüm Brücke!

Pasamos por delante del conocido club Matrix, pero decidimos no entrar, así que nos encaminamos al Suicide Circus y RAW-Gelände, que era una zona muy alternativa, con antros pequeños con derecho de admisión, muebles viejos y exteriores con graffitis y murales. (Por lo que he leido redactando este post, también se ve que es una de las zonas más peligrosas de Berlin, ya que son comunes los robatorios y corren muchas drogas, pero por suerte no tuvimos ningún accidente)

We saw the popular Matrix club, but we decided not to enter in, so we walked to Suicide Circus and RAW-Gelände, that is a very alternative zone, with little bars with old furniture and a lot of graffittis and murals. (When I was writing this post, I readed that is one of the most dangerous zones in Berlin, it's common the robberies and the drug dealers, but fortunately, we didn't had any accident)

¡Viva la resolucion!

Alli estuvimos varias horas en un bar, me gusto mucho la estetica de todo. Para volver, tuvimos que esperar al primer tramvia, a las 4 de la mañana, pero por suerte, en Alemania, hay supermercados abiertos las 24 horas, por lo que entramos a uno para comprar algo para comer y ver las rarezas que se venden allí.

We stayed a lot of time there, I like it a lot. To get back to the hotel, we had to wait to the first tram, at 4 a.m., but luckily, there was an open supermarket, so we entered there to buy something to eat and watch the different things the were on sale.
