No me acuerdo de si lo mencioné en el blog, el caso es que el 18 de Abril hice el viaje más esperado de mi vida: ¡Berlin!
(Ojo, este post será largo)
Siempre habia pensado que me gustaria visitar esta ciudad, así que cuando vi anunciado en mi escuela que se organizaba un viaje, me emocioné mucho. Tras algunos meses de espera, algo de alemán aprendido, leer muchas guias y muchos nervios, llegó el dia.
El trayecto al aeropuerto merece un capitulo solo: gracias al retraso que tiene siempre la magnifica Renfe, perdimos el tren que nos llebava al Aeropuerto, así que tuvimos que esperar al siguiente. Con lo consiguiente, llegamos tarde al aeropuerto, y una vez allí, con lo enorme que es el Aeropuerto del Prat, ¡nos costo lo suyo encontrar al resto del grupo! Además que una vez en la cola para embarcar, nos dijieron que por exeso de equipaje de mano, nos llevarian las maletas en bodega.
Una vez en el avión, nos esperaba un vuelo de 2 horas y media. Solo habia ido en avión 2 veces (ida y vuelta de Barcelona a Menorca) y era un vuelo corto, por lo que me preocupaba aburrirme una vez allí, pero ¡al contrario! Pasados los nervios del despegue, me encantó ver las nubes, los barcos y la costa (nunca sabré que ciudades vimos), y una vez sobrevolabamos el continente, ver los Alpes y sus lagos.

I always wanted to visit this city, so when I saw announced at my school that they organized a trip, I felt very excited. After a few months waiting, some german learned, lots of guides readed, it was the day.
The way to the airport it's a chapter by itself. The train (as always) arrived late to Barcelona, so we had to wait to another train to get the airport. And once we arrived there, we get lost again, because the Prat Airport is so huge!
The flying lasted two hours and half. I've only flyed two times (Barcelona-Menorca) and it was a short flight, so I was wooried if I get bored, but I enjoyed a lot seeing the clouds, the ships... and once at the continent, I saw the Alps Mountains and it's lakes! It was a beautiful experience.

Y ya el avión aterrizó y llegamos al aeropuerto de Schönefeld. Des de allí tuvimos que coger un tren para llegar al centro, aunque resulta que estaban de obras o no se qué y tuvimos que parar en una estación para coger otro que si llegaba, pero bien. Aprovechamos para comer allí y empezar a conocer Berlin des de las afueras.
We arrived at Schönefeld airport. We get the train to arrive to the city center, but we had to take another because they were building works or something. I had lunch during the way.
Paramos en la estación de Friedrichstrasse y de allí fuimos a pie hasta el hotel.
Aprovecho para advertiros: OS VAIS A HARTAR DE VER FOTOS DE EDIFICIOS. Me llama muchisimo la atención la arquitectura, por lo que en Berlin encontré edificios PRECIOSOS. Hay muchos ejemplos de arquitectura brutalista y comunista, ya lo ireis viendo.
We stopped at Friedrichstrasse station and we went to the hotel walking.
Now it's time to tell you that YOU WILL GET TIRED OF THE PICTURES OF BUILDINGS. I'm a lover of the buildings, so in Berlin I saw lots of beautiful buildings. There are a lot of examples of brutalist and comunist architecture, you will see.
El hotel estaba justo al lado de donde habia estado Tacheles, una casa okupa donde artistas tenian tiendas y vendian sus obras.
The hotel was next Tacheles, a building that artists had their shops to sell their artwork.

En algunas zonas de la ciudad estaban de obras y te podias encontrar con estos enormes tubos.
In some places of the city were construction works, so some places were full of tubes.

Quedamos en una hora y fuimos todos a la Puerta de Brandenburgo, donde nos esperaba una guia para hacer una visita guiada de sitios emblematicos.
We went at Brandenburguer Door, where a guide was waiting to us to make a guided walk to touristic places.

Monumento al Holocausto.

Cientos de bloques grises que conmemoran a las victimas del nazismo. Es una instalación enorme donde puedes perderte.
Lots of grey blocks to commemorate the nazism victims. It's a huge place, so you can get lost.
Las papeleras tenian mensajes relacionados con el entorno donde estaban.

Después del Monumento al Holocausto, visitamos el lugar donde estubo el bunker de Hitler donde se suicidó (no hice fotos porque actualmente es un parking y solo hay un poster con informacion), la sede del ministerio de aviación y un trozo de muro que se conserva.

After the Holocaust Denkmal, we went to the place were it was Hitler's bunker (where he commited suicide), but now it's a parking, so I didn't take pictures. Then, we went to see a little fragment of the Wall of Berlin and the Aviation Ministery.

En algunos lugares habia piedras doradas con nombres de judios que vivieron allí.

Por el camino vimos un fotomatón analogico. Nos dieron tiempo libre y fuimos corriendo a visitarlo, ya que no sabia si tendriamos la oportunidad de encontrar muchos. Hay una empresa que tiene varios por la ciudad y se imprimen como la fotografia antigua, por lo que tarda su tiempo a revelarse.
In the way, we saw a analogic photobooth. The guide give us free time and we runned to visit it, because I didn't know if I could found it again. In Berlin, there is a company that have some analogic photobooths in the city. They are like the old photography, so it takes time to reveal the pictures.

Es una plaza donde antiguamente se hacia un mercado. Hay dos iglesias iguales, una para cada variante del cristianismo. Al medio, hay un teatro.
De allí fuimos a la Universidad de Humbold y ya nos dejaron tiempo libre hasta el dia siguiente.

At this square there was a market. Here are two twin churches. At the middle, there is a theather.
From there we went to Humbold University, and then, they gave us free time until the next day.

Nos metimos por un barrio residencial, donde las casas eran bloques coloridos. Ya empezaba a caer la noche, así que la calidad de las fotos es mala...
We went to a residential neighbourhood, were the houses were colorful. It was getting dark, so the pictures are bad...
Me fijé que en ese barrio (Y Kreuzberg en general) muchas casas tenian los bajos llenos de grafitis y pintadas.
I saw that in this neighbourhood some houses had graffittis.

Ese barrio no estaba bien iluminado. Como nos perdimos, cojimos el S-Bahn y nos fuimos a cenar cerca del hotel y luego ya a descansar
That neighbourhood had a bad light, so we get lost from the rest of group, and we decided to took the S-Bahn and go to had dinner near the hotel and have a rest.
Hasta aqui el primer dia en Berlin. Me esperan unas semanas muy ocupadas, ¡Espero pronto publicar el resto de dias del viaje!
