El 26 de mayo tuve el placer de asistir a "Mostra de vestuari basada en els sentits i la xocolata", de la modista Teresa MO. Hace mucho tiempo que estaba preparando este montaje, por lo que fue un día muy especial. Llevaba tiempo siguiendo de cerca el proceso, ya que ayudaba a la modista como aprendiz. Vi los bocetos iniciales, el casting de modelos, como cosía los vestidos, mandé invitaciones...
La semana previa al día señalado fue un caos: yo estaba preparando también una exposición, más el montaje de una instalación artística más las respectivas inauguraciones, por lo que se me ajuntaron 3 días de mucha faena, en la que apenas estuve en casa, ¡lo justo para dormir!
Ese día lo dediqué casi entero a este montaje. Mi padre ejercicio de fotógrafo oficial, así que al mediodía, pusimos rumbo al Museo del Chocolate de Barcelona, donde se celebró el evento. El montaje empezaba a las 19:30h., por lo que antes, estuve ayudando en cosas como ir a buscar comida para los modelos, comprar cosas necesarias a ultima hora, colgar carteles... La verdad es que, aparte del rato libre de comer (que aproveché para perderme un rato por la ciudad, ya haré otro post con las fotos), estuve muy atareada, pero valió mucho la pena (me salté clase ese día para estar allí)
On May 26 I had the pleasure to attend at "Mostra els based vestuari sentits i la xocolata" by the dressmaker Teresa MO. She has been preparing this show since a long time ago, so it was a very special day. I've been following closely this process, and I helped as apprentice of the dressmaker. I saw the initial sketches, casting models, I saw how she sewed the dresses, I helped to send the invitations...
The week before of the appointed day was a chaos: I was also preparing an exhibition, plus an art installation with the respective openings, so there were 3 days of a lot of work, I didn't stay at home, just for sleep!
That day I spent almost entirely to this show. My father was the official photographer, so at noon, we headed to the Chocolate Museum in Barcelona, where the event was held. The show began at 19: 30h., So before, I was helping at things as fetching food for models, buy last minute necessary things, hang posters ... Apart from the free time of eating (which I get lost at the city for a while, I will make another post with the pictures I took), I was very busy, but it was well worth it (I skipped class that day to be there)
La muestra trataba de vestidos inspirados en los artistas que más han inspirado a la modista. Sonaba una música e iban apareciendo los modelos según su canción. ¡Fue espectacular!
The show consisted on dressed inspired by the artists that most inspired at the dressmaker. When appeared each artist, they appearead the models. It was spectacular!

Llevaban en cada plato, un bombón, masculino o femenino, inspirados en un poema visual de Joan Brossa. Al final, se pudieron degustar ¡estaban riquísimos!
In each plate, they bring a bonbon, inspired by a visual poetry by Joan Brossa. At the end, we could taste them, they were so yummy!
